Limited edition make-up set by Emilio Pucci from Guerlain

This set is attractively packaged with Emilio Pucci’s trademark gorgeous swirls. Firstly, we have Météorites Pearls. Guerlain’s famous pearls now in different shades which glow, brighten and freshen your appearance.
The Eye-Set has four eye-shadows, two Kohl-liner pencils and a lengthening and curving mascara. It is perfect to take on a summer trip as they are exactly the colours you need for your fresh summer look.
Finally there are the sparkling lip glosses and radiant blush. The blush has to be applied with fingers as it is a mousse and is a disappointment because glitter inevitably ends up sticking to your fingers. The glosses are pink, peach, azur blue and gold. I like the pink and peach with a bit of frost in them. I’m not so keen on the gold and blue!
But either the Eye-Set or the Météorites Pearls are a “must-have” for this summer.

Oxygen mask by Bliss
Gel when squeezed out; porous foam when rubbed in, this mask is one of their best products. If you could see oxygen it would look like this. It re-juvenates, re-vitalises, gets rid of dead cells, brightens and glows the skin. This mask re-supplies the oxygen you’ve missed as a result of staying inside during the cold months. Call it a quick facial in a bottle.
£38 for 3.4 oz. Quite expensive but treat yourself! The lathering means that you don’t need a big amount so it should last a while.

Neroli by Annick Goutal
This new fragrance from Annick Goutal is different to her other and is very simple: orange blossom and orange tree seeds are the two key ingredients which doesn’t make for much excitement. It simply smells like fresh cut grass. If you like this sort of smell try Mark Jacob’s Splash Grass. It is very sharp – you either like it straight away or you don’t like it at all.
£41 for 50ml; £57 for 100ml Eau de Toilette. I’m a fan of fresh fragrances but this is rubbish!

Wish Turquoise by Chopard
What a pretty bottle! You just want to touch it, hold it, have it on your dressing table! One of my light, fresh summer fragrances.
If you want to have something new and nice for summer then go for it.
£35 for 50ml which is a resonable price.

Versace by Versace
Versace by Versace is a beautiful summer fragrance. It is very light, floral, fruity and sweet – but not too sweet. It’s like summer itself! It only comes in Eau de Parfum. Eau de Parfum is always more expensive than Eau de Toilette but it will last longer.
£42 for 50ml. £56 for 100ml.

Laura Mercier’s Baby Lips
If you are a fan of lipsticks over lip gloss or both and you like natural colours, Baby Lips is for you. It will suit any hair colour.
It looks dark when rolled out of the stick but when put on the lips it looks amazing and natural. Natural colours like these work well especially in the summer. You get the benefit from the lipstick while no one will be sure if you’re wearing any.
Not really cheap but not expensive at £16.

Plump your lips
Freeze 24•7’s Plump lips ice sticks. I love these. I love the whole palette of colours from light pink to darker. The best one I tried was the plum (furthest right in the picture). I’m not a fan of dark colours but this one is the best. It looks surprisingly natural when applied. And even if you don’t like any of these colours there is a clear option.
They smell nice, taste nice and leave your lips feeling nice and cool.

Annick Goutal skincare
Annick Goutal skincare doesn’t only look good in its packaging, it is serious skin care. Don’t always take the obvious route of established favourites like Clarins, Clinique, Estée Lauder, Chanel or Dior – Annick Goutal skincare has benefits for all skin types that would surprise even the most knowledgeable customer.
There are only 14 different products each one uniquely containing active rose serum distilled from the petals. All are simple and easy to use.
I want to talk about Crème Spendide which contains rose oil and shea butter. It is particularly useful as it is for all skin types which helps if you are not sure about yours. Skin conditions can change through life. It absorbs immediately and isn’t greasy. Instant results will delight you. It’s high in vitamins A, B5, C, E and F, zinc, magnesium and calcium and fights against free radicals – it will also hold your make-up. It smells of a fresh, green, morning rose. Most importantly, it’s anti-aging and revitalising.
£80 for 60ml – is it worth the money?
Yes and No. The variety of minerals and vitamins push up the price but you can find cheaper products on the market. I understand that many people would choose the more established companies but I have tried this product and would recommend it. For lovers of quality skincare who still haven’t found what they’re looking for it’s worth trying and may really suit you.
