This is the first from Dior’s “cruise collection”. With its lemony, citrussy and cologney smell it would suit both women and men. Ingredients include Calabrian bergamot, Italian citron, Sicilian petitgrain, bitter almond and orange blossom, which makes it really flat and without imagination. Too simple for me, but it will have it’s customers. Eau de toilette only.

I like the advertising visual that comes with it. A sophisticated, rich women sitting on a sun-baked staircase – it makes me dream of an exotic holiday in Portofino.

If you’re really into all things lemony and citrussy, try Eau D’Hadrien by Annick Goutal which has lemon, citron tree and grapefruit. Goutal had the sense to release this same fragrance twice; there’s a man’s and woman’s version that are exactly the same!

Finally the long awaited eponymous fragrance from Chloe and it did not disappoint. It’s floral, fruity, girlie and happy. In fact, I could see a little bottle of this in my handbag.

Some of my friends said that they would use it as an air freshener but they’re cheap!

Chance Eau Fraiche from Chanel

This smell lifts my spirits up. One of my favourites and highly recommended for lovers of freshness.

Chanel deserve congratulations for this exciting, nose-catching and feminine scent. Great for spring and summer as it’s floral refreshed with citron and water hyacinth and it has an original green colour!

Happy Spirit fragrance from Chopard

Sad to say that Happy Spirit is very disappointingly ordinary. When I first smelt it I was like, “well, OK, but nothing to pull you in”. It is one of these fragrances you don’t feel the need to purchase. Some customers may get it for the sake of buying something new. I wouldn’t spend £40 for 50ml which was the price in Harrods where it was exclusively sold for a while.

The heart shaped bottle must have increased sales over the Valentine’s period but I think it’s tacky.

Le Jasmin from Annick Goutal

This was a limited edition fragrance that sold out a few years ago and unavailable until now! I don’t know if this time it’ll be a limited edition but let’s hope so! It smells of jasmin for one second and that’s it! I don’t know what else is in there but it’s so strong that it makes me cough.

Juicy Couture by Juicy Couture

Now you can smell like Juicy girl! With top notes of watermelon, mandarin, and pink passion fruit combined with fresh marigold and green apple, further enhanced by a splash of water hyacinth and crushed leaves. Heart notes of couture tuberose absolute wrapped in wild rose with princess lily and creamy tuberose. Base notes of caramel créme brulée and vanilla come together with the elegance of precious woods and patchouli.

Light, floral and fruity but it doesn’t last long. It reminds me of a cheap Princess Marina De Bourbon fragrance. The girlie packaging is something that Barbie would like.

Rock ‘n rose by Valentino

A heavier version of Juicy Couture, sweet and, of course, rosy. You couldn’t say that it’s extremely exciting but it will have it’s own customers who aspire to a “rock chic” image with a touch of elegance. The bottle is nothing special and not very original with a very boring lid.

Neroli by Annick Goutal

This new fragrance from Annick Goutal is different to her other and is very simple: orange blossom and orange tree seeds are the two key ingredients which doesn’t make for much excitement. It simply smells like fresh cut grass. If you like this sort of smell try Mark Jacob‘s Splash Grass. It is very sharp – you either like it straight away or you don’t like it at all.

£41 for 50ml; £57 for 100ml Eau de Toilette. I’m a fan of fresh fragrances but this is rubbish!

Wish Turquoise by Chopard

What a pretty bottle! You just want to touch it, hold it, have it on your dressing table! One of my light, fresh summer fragrances.

If you want to have something new and nice for summer then go for it.

£35 for 50ml which is a resonable price.

Versace by Versace

Versace by Versace is a beautiful summer fragrance. It is very light, floral, fruity and sweet – but not too sweet. It’s like summer itself! It only comes in Eau de Parfum. Eau de Parfum is always more expensive than Eau de Toilette but it will last longer.

£42 for 50ml. £56 for 100ml.

New fragrance from Serge Lutens

Rousse‘s main ingredient is cinnamon and therefore smells of coca-cola and Christmas. It might have been a good autumn/winter release.

The top note is mandarin and gives a fresh and mysterious odour.
