I enjoyed it much more than I’d expected. If your sample’s big enough, this is one of those spray-with-abandon scents, I think. If it’s shown up on the discounters as others have said, maybe I need some?

I adore the older Dior scents, and like a few of the Poisons…but this “travel” fragrance idea is getting overdone, so many brands are doing it. We’ll see, perhaps this will be marvelous.

The idea behind any parfume should be that it should stick for at least 12 hours and it should smell different so that person wearing it will be noticed. I am sure Dior made it again.

I don’t understand why they have to label it as “for men” and “for women” when the versions exactly the same. Will a ‘lemony-citrussy’ smell fit men? I am looking forward to seeing this new product in the market and testing it myself.

Thank you everyone for your comments. The fragrance in the UK is £41 for 75ml and £58.50 for 125ml.

A quick google of “Escale à Portofino by Dior” will show you how to buy it online. Any good high street store should have it.

I’m so glad that husbands are buying it for their wives and ladies are buying it for themselves!
